I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise it won't be boring.

— David Bowie

Welcome! I’m Mikah, your friendly neighborhood UX Researcher, UX Designer, and—most importantly—a dreamer.

Over the past several years, I’ve embarked on an exciting journey of self-discovery. From freelancing and university projects to coursework, I recently completed my Master's in UX Design from the Universidad de Diseño y Tecnología (UDIT) in Madrid. This adventure was transformative and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Stepping out of my comfort zone to explore the world for my Master’s degree brought me incredible personal and professional experiences that I cherish deeply.

On a personal note, I’m passionate about reading, photography, drawing, and showering my dog and cats with all the love and affection. I love taking on new challenges and finding ways to improve myself. I’m also always up for a trip to explore new places, experience wonderful new cultures, see breathtaking views, and savor delicious meals.

This website and my design portfolio are a short showcase of my problem-solving skills and creativity. They feature various projects that embody my dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences. With a background in Political Science, Philosophy, Psychology, and Graphic Design, I found my spark in UX Research and Design. My goal has always been to make a positive impact in the world and enhance people’s lives and I found that through thoughtful design.

I’m eager to explore new opportunities, contribute to the growth of vibrant creative projects, and continue expanding my skills. If you’re interested in collaborating or simply want to learn more about my background and design philosophy, feel free to reach out. Let’s create something amazing together!

Thank you for stopping by and joining me on this journey of innovation and user-centric design. I look forward to connecting with fellow design enthusiasts and crafting experiences that leave a lasting impact on users' lives!

How do I explain what I do at a party? The short version is that I say I humanize technology.
